Utilizing in-situ growth lighting to enhance multi-spectral imaging and undertook water stress as a proof of concept abiotic stress condition.

Research and development of a camera system and AI to detect biotic and abiotic stress in plants.

This project is a collaboration between CMU and Bloomfield Robotics in a NASA funded Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Phase I project. The overall goal of the project involves research and development of a camera system and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to detect biotic and abiotic stress in plants. More specifically, the project focused on utilizing in-situ growth lighting to enhance multi-spectral imaging and undertook water stress as a proof of concept abiotic stress condition.
