"Roboburgh"
In 1999, The Wall Street Journal dubbed Pittsburgh as “Roboburgh,” a tribute to the city’s rapid growth in robotics research and development, much of which emanates from Carnegie Mellon University. We’re proud to be a founding member of the R&D environment and network that has expanded for robotics and tech startups in the region.
Sandwiched between Bloomfield and the Strip District, Lawrenceville is home of NREC at the heart of Robotics Row. Lawrenceville has numerous trendy bars and restaurants as well as art galleries, cafes and design studios.
